A student in this position can expect the following duties: 

• Attend campus events to capture video and photo content to be used on social media and web
• Keep up to date with current social media trends to adapt for use on college channels
• Capture photo and video using primarily iPhone, and possibly DSLR cameras
• Support the C&M office with promotion of special events and campaigns on various platforms
• Assist in creating and planning ideas, content, and trends for all the Beloit College social media platforms
• Work independently and collaboratively with other student workers to execute social trends from start to finish
• Assist in writing copy, editing, photography, and graphic design
